In 2015, we launched our beloved company, our “third child”, our “other sister”… what has come to feel like a family member to all of us. This business has its own personality, it’s own quirks, it’s own needs and wants… it’s own issues. It’s own operations. It surprises us daily. And yet it has remained a constant in our life for 10 years now.

A good friend asked me the other day, “You’ve been doing the same thing now for 10 years now… how is that going for you?”

That question has sat with me for the past few weeks. She was right to ask this. I’ve never had any job this long. I’ve never done much of anything longer than 10 years, when I think about it. I’ve been married for 12 years… that’s probably the only thing longer. I’ve been in a committed relationship to both my husband and my business now for over 10 years. 10 YEARS!
